as for entertainment
i mentioned the boardwalk to you before as a nice date spot
the trolley rides long and not a bad time to spend together and theres games and stuff
so thats open friday through sunday
friday nights theres also a movie at the theater and its traditional for couples to neck in the back
polnareffs your contact for that you can ask him what hes planning to show
for dinner maybe hit up one of the italians? last i checked no one was running the restaurant so your options are limited if you dont want to lose date time cooking
and im not kidding about reserving the whole nightclub just for you two
we dont have much of a nightlife here anyway

I'm told I'm wildly in debt to "the flower shop guy" already (evidently a tab was run up in my name prior to my arrival) but I suppose if I'm already in up to my nose, ending up in up to my eyeballs isn't that much of a difference.

I'm aiming for a figure of around two weeks from now so perhaps sometime around the fourteenth of April? If I might put in a reservation for your nightclub, indeed.

its not like ive got plans thatll put me out on the thirteenth its just a personal anniversary of sorts

...Well, as the MEDIUM goes I'm somewhat more partial to oils than to photography, but the composition aspect doesn't differ greatly between the two, save perhaps in aspects concerning the lightning.

Of course, if you mean the technology of it, yes, it's fairly rudimentary. Naturally I'm familiar with cameras and kinetoscopes and such, we had those.

my mom was here for a couple days and while she was she made me a camera
but i only have the one roll of 35 mm film inside it and no way to develop my photos or make prints
i know basically what sorts of things i need particularly on the development side
i set up my own darkroom as a kid
but the actual equipment making process is a little beyond me
im not gonna ask you for an entire print processing studio for a single night of dirty dancing but do you think you could help me figure out at least an enlarger and film?

Why, certainly. I suspect the most difficult part of the endeavor will be collecting the materials necessary; the actual assembly shouldn't be anything too tedious at all by comparison.

genetically hes my father but that is so not our relationship
and were also from different iterations of our universe so our firsthand experience of each other is limited
long lost brothers is the closest approximation i can make to cover both our relatedness and our unfamiliarity
