He can't help it, he can't see but he knows it's Dirk and his first instinct is to compare, to brace himself for a second just in case it feels like big-powerful-steel-faced Bro without an inch of give to him, but it doesn't. It's fine. It's not the same as hugging Karkat except it is, because it is Karkat, and he's hugging back and snuggling in like he belongs even if it's a little bit new.]
