Homestuck 
What is there really to say that has not been said about how important Jade Harley is to Dave Strider? She's the one touchstone of familiarity in this crazy post-death fever dream and he'd do anything to make sure she gets to be happy and have all the friends and good things they both missed out on in their lives. He thinks the world of her and wouldn't hesitate to die for her again if it meant she'd have a chance to exist a little longer. She's smart and strong and kind and fun, and really, his best friend in so many ways. If Jade weren't here, Dave would be a lot more lost.
Homestuck
Karkat is Dave's alien bro for life. As much as they give each other grief--or really, as much as Dave likes giving Karkat grief, honestly--they get each other on a really intuitive level, and Karkat is one of the people Dave practically feels safe with. The way Karkat's taking care of him now is so new to Dave that he doesn't know how to approach it at all. It makes him feel shy and unsure, but also kind of touched...
RWBY 
The first non-Pokémon friend he made face-to-face, and a right quirky one she is. Now that they've both broken their barriers some and have shared secrets they never meant to divulge--and both managed to support the other--he thinks of Penny as a very close friend and confidante and has sworn himself to her protection, whatever that means emotionally or physically.
Soul Eater 
Their conversations veer from dumb teenage shit-shooting to uncomfortable feelings territory with reckless abandon, but Maka really helped him out of a jam the moment he arrived in Johto. Dave doesn't forget a kindness. Maka's also got a familiar personality and he really enjoys their conversations, even if Bro is still the big fat shitty elephant in the room. He's starting to suspect they share more than a few similar experiences, but he doesn't want to get into that yet.
Jimmy Two-Shoes
Jimmy also helped Dave very early on AND reminds him of John, which basically means Dave is going to think Jimmy is the shit until the end of time. Dave is REALLY excited to get to hang out with Jimmy in person once his party gets to Goldenrod.
Frozen
Elsa went from Friendly Adult to Super Important in sixty seconds flat on his anonymous post. She's the first non-Homestuck he's confided to about what happened to him in SBURB, and if and when he starts to confront some of the other issues in his life, she'll probably be the first person he turns to, because she gets it.
Red vs. Blue
Carolina sent him a Happiny Meal Toy for his birthday. Carolina is the most hilariously awkward excuse for an adult he's ever met. He doesn't really know the first thing about her, but if she wants to be his friend, he's more than willing to help her out.
Devil Survivor
Naoya's really smart and knows a whole fucking lot about his world. In exchange, he hardly even blinks at information about Dave's. Their conversations always go really fun places and Dave learns a lot--except when their conversations go really dire places, and Dave learns more than he bargained for. Naoya is absolutely some kind of Biblical supervillain but he cares and he wanted to save the world, even if it meant sacrificing his cousin-brother. It's fucking Dave up, how much he understands Naoya's position but also how close it hits home.
Dangan Ronpa 
Kirigiri was definitely friends with at least one of the hims that got to Route before he did, but she's super conscientious about it and Dave appreciates that even as he tries to explain that friendship spoilers aren't a huge deal to him. She was also friends with one (1) Dirk Strider and had positive things to say about him, which Dave feels...weird...about, in a way he can't quite put his finger on and so has nervously shelved to poke at when he's alone. Otherwise, Kirigiri impressed him whole-heartedly and she's someone he hopes to meet up with in person once he finally gets the fuck out of Violet City.
Frozen
Princess Anna is SOOOO COOL. And not even in, like, a way that TRIES to be cool. She's just so nice and chatty but also boss as fuck? DUDE. When he hopefully eventually gets a badge, she'll be one of the first people he shows off to.
Kingdom Hearts 
Xion went with him when he said he wanted to go to the Ruins of Alph, which was very cool of her. She also replied to his anonymous post without masking her identity, and he learned some things about her past that were super fucked up? He didn't have a chance to address them then and he isn't sure how to bring them up now, since he was supposed to be anonymous and all, but he sort of feels like she could use someone to check up on her if she doesn't have one already.
Until Dawn
Ashley showed up in obvious distress, so Dave set aside his usual bullshit to help her out more gently. He has since learned that she's smart and dorky and a little sassy, which is really all he needs to get along with someone. She's proven herself crazy easy to talk to and a frequent late-night conversation partner, and Dave loves trading millennial culture tidbits with her. A good friend.
Red vs. Blue
One of Carolina's Partners with a capital P: North is like the nicest adult Dave's ever spoken with, and has been incredibly patient with Dave's kind of invasive personal questions. He's a fellow estranged twin, too, and Dave believes he really must miss his sister a lot.
Undertale
Frisk can only visit during Fourth Wall, but the conversation they had broke Dave's heart to pieces. He hopes they're all right, and he hopes someone's taking care of them, and he hopes someone took the world off this poor kid's shoulders.
