Where's Dear Abby when you need advice?]
Have you ever been in a situation
Where you knew something somebody else didn't
And you weren't sure if you should tell them or not
Like you knew that if they found out they'd be really upset but there's also nothing they could do about it
And you don't want them to blame themselves
Or
Get mad at you
But pretending it didn't happen feels
I don't know
A lot like lying I guess
What would you do in those circumstances?
I'm asking for a friend.

You can't keep someone from getting upset with themselves...all you can do is be there for them, let them know you care and support them. It sounds weird but just a simple "I'm here, I'm not going anywhere" can mean a whole lot.

I mean she could get upset with me too
She probably should be
I'd rather she was pissed at me for being an enormous tool than at herself but I don't think there's anything I can tell her that wouldn't make her feel crappy
And none of that shit was her fault??
It's just
Shit that happened that she got caught up in unfairly

uh
I don't know what you mean by tool
do you mean someone used you as a tool
cause that's not your fault either
no subject
Uh
No
That's just
It's a self derogatory term don't worry about it
[He will not be the one to sully the Disney Princess's vocabulary with his filth.]
I don't know maybe I just shouldn't say anything after all
Things turned out the way they were supposed to last time

I guess technically you asked for other peoples' perspective on it, so I'm not going to sit here and try to convince you about telling the truth. You could come back to it later when you're more comfortable?
But hopefully you do that before she asks. Trying to think of lies to answer the questions you get are terrible.

I talk too much to be a good liar so I guess I'll just come clean then
no subject
I mean that, really.
It's hard at first but...you feel better once the air is cleared.

Guess
Look I really don't know
The thing is something like this happened before already
Something kind of like what you said happened to you
And I don't
I don't know what the right thing is to do

Whether it's right or wrong depends on who's looking at the situation. Some people might say it's mean of you to tell something like that to your friend, some people might say it's mean to keep the truth from her. I guess it depends on what's in your own heart.
Do you love your friend?
I mean as a friend.

Yeah.
I do.

I know it's weird, what kind of advice is relying on your heart? But I know too that your heart is one of the strongest things you've got for deciding right and wrong. Small or big, it's a light that guides you through dark times.

I'll
Keep that in mind?
Have a real uh
Tete a tete with my bloodpusher
Thanks though
I mean it

Or at least a clone of one.]
You say weird stuff.
[Kinda like someone familiar to her.]
Your "bloodpusher" has some good morals is what I'm saying, kind of like Jiminy Cricket.
[...Where does she remember that name--dammit Sora and your stupid memories.]

Just try to trust it a little bit and I think you'll be okay.
