Have you ever been in a situation
Where you knew something somebody else didn't
And you weren't sure if you should tell them or not
Like you knew that if they found out they'd be really upset but there's also nothing they could do about it
And you don't want them to blame themselves
Or
Get mad at you
But pretending it didn't happen feels
I don't know
A lot like lying I guess
What would you do in those circumstances?

Sometimes it's worth just pretending it hasn't happened, though. It's not worth the pain.

Which is why I'm not exactly raring to drop this bomb on my friend because I'm sure it's the same for them
But yeah like worst case scenario and they find out and everything gets fucked
At least neither of us will have to actually deal with any of that shit while we're here
